About the Journal

The ASEAN Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Studies (AJHTS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in hospitality and tourism. It provides a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share insights, evidence-based findings, and innovative approaches that address contemporary challenges in the industry.

AJHTS emphasizes research from the ASEAN region while welcoming global perspectives that enrich comparative understanding. Its scope includes hospitality management, sustainable and regenerative tourism, cultural heritage, community-based and inclusive tourism, digital transformation, wellness tourism, and tourism education.

The journal applies a double-blind peer review process, follows COPE publication ethics, and publishes all content under a CC BY 4.0 license. AJHTS accepts manuscripts in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, with abstracts provided in English for wider international visibility. AJHTS is published three times a year (April, August, and December) to ensure the timely dissemination of scholarly work.
