The ASEAN Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Studies (AJHTS) is dedicated to advancing knowledge, practice, and innovation in the fields of hospitality and tourism, with a special focus on issues relevant to the ASEAN region while embracing global perspectives.

Aims
AJHTS aims to:

  • Provide a platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to share high-quality research and best practices.

  • Encourage critical and interdisciplinary discussions that contribute to the sustainable growth of hospitality and tourism industries.

  • Foster academic collaboration across ASEAN countries and beyond.

Scope
The journal welcomes original research articles, case studies, and reviews on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Hospitality management and operations

  • Sustainable and regenerative tourism

  • Community-based and inclusive tourism

  • Cultural and heritage tourism

  • Digital transformation and smart tourism

  • Wellness and medical tourism

  • Human resource development and tourism education

  • Policy, governance, and destination management

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process and must demonstrate relevance, originality, and contribution to the field.
